  • 2015 GUIDELINES ◦Semi private lessons are generally taught two times a week. ◦Semi private Swim Lesson Request Form must be complete and submitted at least two weeks before the start date. Please note: two students per semi private Swim Lesson Request Form. ◦Students must be three years of age by May 1, 2015 to participate.. ◦Lessons will be offered depending on Instructor availability. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request. Any pool offering group lessons will generally schedule the semi private lessons during those same days. ◦The skill level of the two students should be similar. ◦Weather Policy: All participants should arrive at their scheduled lesson time REGARDLESS of the weather conditions. Further information will be provided by the Instructor if the weather does not permit class from being conducted during the scheduled time. When completing the form be sure to include a good working number for the instructor to call. ◦GHPM requires in writing an 8-hour notice for class cancellation due to illness, conflict, etc. Lessons cannot be rescheduled if the instructor has already arrived at the pool the day of the lesson.. GHPM cannot guarantee the make-up class will be at the original scheduled time or day of the week; however, we will make every attempt to accommodate. ◦Lessons are offered only when the pool is open. Each lesson is 30 minutes in length. ◦Only students are allowed on deck during class times. All parents and guests must remain on the sidelines. ◦All students, parents, and guests are required to follow the pool rules posted at the facility. ◦A swim lesson registration is not final until full payment is received by GHPMI and you receive an e-mail confirmation from the GHPMI office.

  • Payment Guidelines *Semi private Swim Lesson Packages (1 lesson = 30 minutes):
  • 1 to 4 lessons = $32.00/lesson ($16.00/lesson/student)
  • 5 to 8 lessons = $31.00/lesson ($15.50/lesson/student)
  • *Each credit card charge will include a $2.00 convenience fee. *When the date and time of the lessons are confirmed you will receive an email with instructions on how to pay online. *Returned checks will require a $30.00 service fee.

  • Private Swim Lesson Cancellations *$25.00 of the swim lesson cost is non-refundable for administration fees. For example, if you signed up for 6 lessons the cost would be $186.00, $25.00 of this cost would be non-refundable. *GHPMI will retain the $25.00 non-refundable administration fee and a $15.00 cancellation fee for all semi private swim lessons cancelled within 48 hours of the first day of class. *If at the completion of the first day of class you are not satisfied, please contact our Swim Lesson Coordinator via e-mail. Refund requests must be made in writing. Refunds will not be available after the second day of class. *Credit card payments will be credited to the same card. Cash and check payments will be refunded by check, and will take approximately three (3) weeks to process. Refunds must be requested within 60 days of the first day of class. Cash refunds will not be issued.

There will be NO exceptions to the above policies. In addition, I fully understand that the student has enrolled in an aquatic program that includes strenuous activity. I affirm that the student is in good physical condition and does not have any disabilities or medical conditions that would limit the student’s participation in the aquatic program. During participation in this program I give permission to have the student treated in an emergency. (Note: Agreement is required by swim lesson student/guardian).
